| Topics for Business Messages |
In working with businesses for sales meetings, employee gatherings, business owner dinners and meetings of all types, Nancy will work individually with a company to specifically design a presentation to fit the needs of their meeting.
It Ain't What it Was
Be Ready...Change is Constant! Nancy uses
the history of Harley-Davidson from 1903 to current along with the history
of her Harley dealership from 1970 to present and the paths of change during
those years. These changes deal with everything from technology, to customer
service, employee morale and the demands of both customers/employees and much
more. Nancy uses her passion with Harley and her experiences to add some humor,
participant interaction and challenges to demonstrate our need to daily deal
with change!

Choose the Right 'Tude!
How do you begin your work day? What
gets you pumpin'? In true Harley fashion we must choose to "cruise"
or choose to "lose"! Nancy shares experiences, personally and in
business, to identify how we, as individuals, have the power to choose our
attitude for the day and how it affects every aspect of our life...especially
our jobs. The right 'tude can lead to outrageous customer service through
some basic, simple and inexpensive methods. A brainstorming session is encouraged
to bring new outrageous customer service ideas to the table for any company.

Embrace Change
Nancy shares an effective and emotional
story about embracing change through the loss of her husband and her having
to step up to the plate and accept the responsibilities of running a Harley-Davidson
business which was notoriously known as a man's business. This opens up numerous
types of change that we deal with in business and how we will normally resist,
deny, accept and then embrace.

Hats We Wear
As in all of Nancy's topics, she shares
personal experiences to demonstrate her subject matter and then delves into
how we are to wear each hat in our day with pride. Nancy dissects a quote
of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States: "You are not here
to merely make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live
more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement.
You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget
the errand."

Make the Invisible/Visible
What were you doing 20 years ago? Did
you ever think you would be where you are now? Someone along the way has made
the invisible qualities of leadership and business visible to each of us.
Leadership by fear, incentive and visibility is discussed along with the importance
of communication as a leader. A communication exercise is demonstrated with
audience participation which can truly be an eye-opener on our communication
skills. Success is making the invisible visible to those we want to and need
to reach!
